Year Two Day One Hundred and Fifty Seven - Mister Beer

Dear all,

Today (although officially part of our road trip), we stopped off at the legendary Ravenna Country Market http://www.ravennacountrymarket.ca/, the first time for Calvin and Heather and Twice in two weeks for Karen and I.
The Ravenna Country Market is consistently full of abundant treats and today we stumbled across something *most* unusual. We found Calvin looking over a number of large bottles and noticed he seemed extremely over-excited. Turns out, he had found the latest invention from 'Mister Beer'! http://www.bottlebrew.com/

I picked up a bottles of 'cerveza' and Calvin scooped up a variety of brews. The exciting this about this 'beer' is that it wasn't yet fully 'brewed' yet... that was our job. Ha ha... a challenge!
So, once home, Darren and I [after reading the instructions] opened the large bottle of 'hops'.

In the top of the bottle, there was another small cap containing a capsule of yeast. Once the bottle was opened, we popped the capsule into the bottle and that was it - our work as brew-masters was complete.
We leave the bottle, at room temperature, for 14 days and then it's ready for drinking! I will most certainly be updating as to whether it is a success.
And here are a couple more snap shots from our road trip!
