We love our place but have been having a few issues with the hot water tank of late. Not a major problem in this heat ( after a run, a cold shower is fabulously refreshing) but today, while waiting for the Engineer to come and fix the tank, Darren had finally had enough: We were off to a hotel!
Not for the night... just for a shower! Darren googled 'hotel with shower' and the first thing that popped up was the Marinas Hotel in Collingwood, not far from the hospital. http://marinermotorhotel.ca
I was very impressed with the service we received during our 20 minute stay at the hotel. The nice man on reception was extremely sympathetic to our plight and promised a 'boiling hot shower'; he was not wrong.
Here we are in our little room, it was very clean and the water was very hot. I think I look particularly clean in this photo.
Many thanks to the Mariner's Hotel. $20 for a hot shower is well worth it!
