Year Two Day Thirty Two - First Swim of 2011

Dear all, 

What a day! The weather is AMAZING! We had a few small jobs to do up at the cottage so after a brief stop off in Midland to pick up an insulator thingy (http://www.westburne.ca)

The weather up at the cottage was breath-taking and I was elated after remembering my swimming togs so would be able to take an inaugural dip in the inviting crystal clear waters of the lake. 

Even by 8pm, the water was balmy - the only annoyance came in the form of a billion bugs, some of whom seemed to have survived from the Jurassic era. 

 After Darren finished the work on the roof, we stripped down and took the plunge....

We also christened our new cushions for our deck chairs, as you can see, they are a fabulous addition to the cottage and a great purchase on sale from shopping mecca, The Muskoka Store. http://www.muskokastore.com/Home.html

Darren managed to snap a video of my first dip in the Lake - it was heavenly, the water was sublime!
