Year Two Day Thirty - Moon Flower

Dear all,

It was a triumphant day today - we discovered the first flower on our 'Moon Beam' given to us by Wendy as a small little seedling and is now flourishing in the garden. She took a few weeks to pick up after the move but look at look at her now!
The most intriguing aspect of this beautiful plant is that they only flower at night. I managed to catch this early in the morning as I was about to heard out on a run. It is a fabulous bloom yet disappears as the sun rises over the tree tops.
And in other news:
1. I had a blissful evening with gorgeous Jenny sipping wine on her new deck. The stars of the show were Doug the Pug and Lucie and Chug ( chihuahua-pug cross and totally bonkers)
We managed to curtail Lucie from escaping next door ( and the smoking BBQ) after we spotted her with nose in the air attempting to 'go stealth' and crawl under the fence. They are adorable dogs and it was an amazing evening!
