Day One Hundred and Sixty Eight - Meat Grinder

Dear all,

My transition from vegetarian to full-carni is nearly complete. Today, my meat grinder arrived! I had bought the grinder from 'Northern Tool', an American company that sells everything from hard hats to air compressors with the odd kitchen utensil in between. http://www.northerntool.com/

I think Darren's text saying 'meat grinder here' was possibly one of the best texts I have ever received and I dashed over after work, eager to see it in action.

The grinder I had purchased is brilliantly old school, in fact my mum had one for years and it has the feel of something that will never ever break. Its very heavy and was delightfully easy to assemble, with two settings for meat thickness and three sausage stuffing attachments.

Darren and I spent the next couple of hours devising our world domination of the sausage making industry. Watch this space, we have big plans!
