Day One Hundred and Seventy - Curiosity Books, Creemore

Dear all,

Back in the gorgeous Creemore with Mum and Dad and this time we stopped off at the wonderful Curosity House Bookstore, just across the road from the brewery.

It is a wonderful book shop, reminiscent of the quaint little book shops you find back in the UK. http://curiosityhousebooks.com/. Mutter rather liked the beaver that greets you on entry to the book shop.

Its all beautifully designed made from stripped timbers and with lovely flower arrangements masterfully hung across the building. They have a great selection of books and what caught my eye especially was the art hung throughout the book store, all from local artists and of a very high standard. Its something to aim for!
The big name in Creemore however has got to be the brewery. Creemore Springs Brewery is a micro brewery and has been described as one of the world's great beers. The Creemore beer is fire brewed directly in small batches and delivered fresh weekly all over Canada and the world. The only four ingredients used are Malted Barley, Hops, Water and Yeast and a dash of local spring water which is perfectly suited for making the perfect beer. The brewery runs tours and gives out free tasters of the beers. Its definitely worth popping in of you are in the area and the beer is really quite good. Bravo Creemore!
