Day One Hundred and Seventy Four - Making Bone Dust

Dear all,

Today, under the guidance of the mighty Ted Reader and his 'Everyday Gourmet Burger' Book, I set to work with the help of Darren's food cupboard and my newly purchased herbs, to make up Ted's world famous meat rubs.


I made up two of the bone dusts that Ted swears by in his cooking. They add sensational flavor to so many dishes and a classic for any store cupboard ( hence my desire to whip a couple together for a later date... a classic domestic goddess move!)

My first dust was the 'Tandoori Burger Seasoning': a collection of around 20 herbs and spices
The second was the Orgasmic Onion Seasoning: another spice explosion containing '5' types of onion.
All the wonderful new meat rubs are now in pride of place in the food cabinet. Kerry and Vince had kindly sent over a tub of the classic 'Bone Dust' so now we have three! Its a flavor sensation!
