Dear all,
After a long day at work, I was very excited about an evening with Vince and Darren where there we will almost always get up to a certain amount of mischief. It was another fantastic evening; Darren and Vince were bronzed and bubbly after a day out on the water and we set to work immediately preparing a feast.
Despite the our brave new world of 'Ted' {see Day One Hundred and Twenty Three}, we decided to go slightly off piste for the evening and use what we have in the fridge ( very good training for me and my congenital problem with portion control)
Vince took the helm and whipped up an array of goodies. I slipped into my comfort zone and designated myself the task of making hummus ( One of my personal goals in life is to try and find the ultimate recipe). It was a great success, chick peas, garlic ( lots), lemon juice, soy sauce, salt and the secret ingredient: Wasabi. Blend it all up and sprinkle with Cayenne... fabulous!
Vince took over the kitchen and as if by magic, he prepared a feast of jalapeno peppers stuffed with Veal and sprinkled with cheese, mini veal burgers and souvalaki wrapped in bacon. There is a video below to document; Vince is again in his element as the cooking show host!

It was fabulous. We finished yet another brilliant night watching 'Seven' and 'Law Abiding Citizen' ( both terribly blood thirsty but I survived it using my faithful shield [a cushion/ Darren].
