Day One Hundred and Thirteen - The Huron Club

Dear all,

Finally the famous 'J D's' has been replaced by the seemingly, more prestigious, 'Huron Club', another new edition to the Collingwood night life, Darren and I were keen to try it out. We popped in for a late night pint also meeting the wonderful Scott who I hadn't seen for far too long.

They have given the interior a complete overhaul and I must say, it works. The menu looks fabulous, really tailoring to an older crowd which a sophisticated edge but retaining a playful feel.

They have a beer garden as per before and rather than being crammed full of tipsy 19 year olds it now feels much more relaxed and although we plumped ourselves at the bar, I will definitely head back for an balmy evening of beers on the patio another time.

It was a lovely evening, great to see Scott and plan world dominance. I would highly recommend the new Huron Club to everyone. http://www.thehuronclub.ca/

And in other news:
1. Nadia ate her first nigiri! Raw Fish no less and she loved it! Bravo to the fabulous Hungry Sumo, already a local favorite and only open a week.

Rather more ambitious, Darren, Dave and I went for the 'Sushi Boat'. Despite the fact the sushi arrived on a bridge, it was also fantastic.
