Being the eternal water baby, today was a heavenly day for me as Darren took me out for a spin around Georgian Bay in his fabulous boat. After being hauled out of the water to escape the harsh Canadian Winter, the marina is now filling up with boats ready for the long weekend.
We took a quick tour of the bay getting picking up awesome speed and hurtling over the crests of the lapping waves. Darren is clearly an accomplished boatman with an edge, which of course I love, along with doing everything very fast in water
We sped past the Collingwood grain tower and played 'which house do you want to live in' as we passed the magnificent condos that are springing up all along the waters edge.
I tried to get a good video of our exploits but it was pretty tricky to keep a steady hand.. However, here is a taster! It was a fabulous evening and so great to get back on the water.
