Day Fifty Seven - The Vet

Dear all,

There is always excitement in the Reindeer Pen.. but none so exciting as when Lloyd the Vet comes to visit. Today the Reindeer were due their jabs and it doesn't take a rocket scientist to work out that this was going to be quite the ordeal.

In short, 9 adults, 200 meters of snow fence and various forms of tranquilizer later... we managed to herd the reindeer in the holding pen and administer the shots.

We also drugged Noni (the stallion) in order to give him a pedicure. It was an exciting morning.

And in other news:
1.Darren and Vince compare and contrast: The Google phone vs I Phone

Google won ( I think mainly due to the 'bar code scanner' app )

2. Another superb evening up at the mountain. The wonderful Kerry and Vince came down for the evening and after a quick beer and perusal of google phone applications at our condo, we made a beeline for Tholos ( my favorite spot at the village - you can't beat that dip platter) http://www.tholos.ca/home

We were clearly all on the same psychic plane as we all ordered pretty much the same thing all evening: Stella, Dips, Souvalki, Cappuccino... and it was all fabulous. I was on the brink of falling into a deep food coma towards the end of the evening but a gin and tonic pulled me back.

Another WONDERFUL evening and doubly wonderful to see Kerry. Wonderful wonderful wonderful.
