Yippee, it's the Queen's Diamond Jubilee!!!!!
I had *kinda* forgotten about it, but quickly remembered after a 'skype chat' from mutter who asked whether we were watching it 'on tv'. *eeeek* better turn on the TV I guess...
After dabbling in a couple of Canadian channels (CBC and CTV), we realised we had to go deep and switched over to BBC World. It was awesome! Suddenly the lovely Fearne Cotton and Sandi Toksvig were on screen and I started to feel a deep, rush of nostalgia. They even started the boat-thingy at Battersea Park! *love*

Ps - what will the 70 year Jubilee be called... Platinum??
