Year Two Day One Hundred and Seventy Two - Horses on Highway 26

Dear all,

Something VERY unusual happened today... I was just out running, like I do every day, down Highway 26 ( outside Boston Pizza, to be precise) and I noticed [what i thought was] a lady on a cardboard cut out horse. The horse was motionless, the lady on the horse was wooping and clapping like crazy....it was an interesting sight, to say the least.
Until I realised that the Horses were REAL! Yep, real horse on the *very busy* highway 26 at 5pm (rush hour) with multiple people beeping their horns and shouting out to the horse army. It was crazy! I stopped to chat to the first lady.. offered her countless praise on the docility of her lovely bay horse.. and then moved on to the next one, a lovely cream horse.. who was equally as chilled ( I had to say hello to all the horses)

I was meeting the lovely Rebecca a little later and after she picked me up from home (**See below), I managed to take the pictures above as we drove by. There were HORSES ON HIGHWAY 26!
After the excitement of the horse, I spent  a lovely evening with Rebecca exploring some of the trails far out 'beyond Cranberry' - here is the 'Hen and Chicken trail, a gorgeous and relatively quiet trail that runs along the lakeside.
And check out the moody sky... some great painting possibilities!

A fabulous eve walking with lovely Rebecca!!!
