Dear all,
Hurray it's summer!!! Today ( in the rain) we drove the boat up to the cottage ready for her annual launch!
Once we got the boat in the water ( in record time), we sped over to the cottage to see if she had survived the winter.
Despite the change in weather ( a drop of around 20oC!), I managed to take a few good pics.
We arrived and all was as we had left it... bliss.
Where the trees had been felled last year, new grasses and trees were sprouting up all over the place - it looks wonderfully lush
The cottage was in great shape with the help of Bob's magic plastic window coverings.
And we managed to have five minutes to sit down and enjoy the view. We'll put the dock in next time ( it felt like more of a three-person job).
And here is proof I managed to drive the boat!
I am a very consciousious boat-person.
Darren was definitely enjoying me at the helm!
