Year Two Day One Hundred and Twenty Four - Coop

Dear all,

Today, after a long day at school, I met the fabulous Rebecca at the Collingwood Library http://www.collingwoodpubliclibrary.ca/ for a general meeting about a  highly anticipated project being started in Collingwood.

The *A M A Z I N G*  master minds behind the Tremont ( http://www.thetremont.ca/ coolest place in town), Richard and Anke are in charge of the project and looking to renovate the old Enterprise Bulletin building, potentially developing a local Food Coop as part of the project. It's VERY exciting! *Apologies for the poor photo quality... I blame my poor little Blackberry.
So, after finding the meeting venue ( up a secret staircase - I am not even kidding), I immediately bumped into our pal Greg who was interested in finding out more having a property around the corner ( lucky thing). I made a dive for the snack selection and managed to solicit a coffee from in between the crowds.
The turnout was spectacular and clearly the organisers were overwhelmed by the response. We stayed for an hour or so but homework was calling and the big names were getting settled ready to start making some big moves in getting the Co-op set up. It was very exciting and I can't wait for the project to move forward and for the day that we can drift around the covered market sampling local produce. Hurrah for Collingwood!!!!

And in other news:
1. The scholarship is ON THE MAIN CAMPUS SIGN! *eeeeek*
2. Here is the third colour on my lino cut print... still going!

3. And my third calla lily painting.. still some work to do but *slowly* getting there!
