Dear all,
Today was a monumental day at Georgian.. it was our final day of class ( i.e. our final Art History exam) so Karen and I took the helm and organised an end of year 'pot luck' party after we had all managed to escape the exam hall. Once the seed had been planted on facebook, the response was phenomenal and everyone went all out on the pot luck.
We set up the tables in the painting room ( safest and largest area in the art school) and soon the food started coming. We had a huge turn out and all our wonderful teachers bought a ton of food including a large plate of home made samosas from our leader Ted, a car full of food from Gary and home made curry warmed up on the plaster oven from Niall.
Due to health and safety, things are now pretty tame in Universities and Colleges across Canada so no booze allowed, but we enough food (and ice cream cake) to keep everyone very happy, especially as we had all just rattled through our final exam.
Lovely Laura bought TWO ice cream cakes to the party... an amazing end to the soiree!
A lovely afternoon of food and celebration of the end of the year!
