Year Two Day One Hundred and Twenty - Giant Cheese Ball

Dear all,

Happy Easter! We escaped up to Owen Sound for a fabulous feast with the wonderful Vince, Kerry and all the family. We were greeted with copious drinks and Kerry's new and very intriguing appetiser: a 'Cheese Ball'.
Kerry blended Mature Cheddar, Swiss cheese, cream cheese, green [spring] onions, cayenne, paprika, salt and pepper in her blender. Once in a ball, she put some pecan halves in some saran wrap (cling film) and then rolled in the 'ball'. The pecans covered the cheese to form a 'hedgehog' style of firm dip. It was rich, flavourful and extremely more-ish and of course, open to ones own interpretation of the recipe - the possibilities are endless!

And in other news:
1. A gem of a photo -Karen in her Hazmat suit! I love it!
