Dear all,
I was feeling rather over-exposed (and over paranoid) to noxious chemicals today after a morning spent absorbing volatile organic compounds in printmaking and an afternoon of dust inhalation in sculpture **. Despite everyone's high regard for health and safety in the art department (masks and gloves are mandatory during most activities) I decided to go one step further today and and adorn Karen's very fashionable 'Hazmat' suit (only $7 a piece for anyone interested). As you can see from the picture below, nothing was penetrating my shield, even those things committed to the fume room.
** The art department are extremely committed to our health and safety.. I am just over paranoid and have very sensitive skin.
Here is some further information on the suit. As you can see, they are extremely useful.

A hazmat suit is really necessary for people who work as fire fighters, researchers, labour in noxious environments and emergency workforce responding to lethal spills as it protects the people from harmful materials and substance.
And in other news:
1. My 5th colour is now printed on my lino cut print... nearly there now!
