Day Two Hundred and Thirty Seven - The Walking Dead

Dear all,

Today, I started watching a major North American sitcom on Day One of it's life in the general populous. Today, I became a Walking Dead Groupie!

Walking Dead is the latest big thing on Sunday Night AMC ( also home to the brilliant 'Breaking Bad') http://www.amctv.com/originals/The-Walking-Dead and I was intrigued after hearing from various different people how excited they were about it.

At the core of the show is a Zombie Invasion; a little more gruesome than Vampires (AKA True Blood) but Zeitgeist none the less and I was excited.

With a brew in hand and Darren's open fire sending out a warm glow, I couldn't believe my eyes when none other than fellow country man, Andrew Lincoln appeared on screen.

As [all the Brits reading this] will know, Andrew Lincoln was at one time a virtual Demi-God in the UK off the back of the immensely popular series, 'This Life'. It seems the Lincoln Magic has gone state-side and here he is, decked out in a sheriff's uniform fighting Zombies! My my, how things can change in ten years!

Walking Dead supplied us with 90 minutes of brilliant TV and I am excited about next week; desperately trying not to read the spoilers online!
