Day Two Hundred and Thirty - Georgian College

Dear all,

Today, I took the ultimate plunge and went for an interview at Art School at the nearby yet prestigious Georgian College in Barrie. Now, some might say that my driving experience is limited to the small town of Collingwood and to be honest, they would be right.

I had to navigate myself to the college and was keen to avoid the [dreaded] Highway 400, the monster highway that connects Barrie to The Big Smoke of Toronto. I set out armed with various maps from Darren and a large coffee from Starbucks. As always, I had managed to leave about 10 minutes to spare which added to the enhanced adrenalin levels throughout the journey and I am sure contributed to me digging deep and finding innate city-driving skills.

I managed to find the college in the nick of time but the drama didn't end there. The car park at Georgian College is as big as Collingwood so with enormous trepidation, I picked a parking area and looked around in slight desperation to find out where I was. Turns out, I was right next to where I was meant to be, at the Helen and Arch Brown Centre for the Visual Arts. http://www.georgianc.on.ca. Karma saves the day, hurray!
The future looks bright! The interview went extremely well. I have got to get painting!

And in other news:
1. Below, The first documented footage of Mac and his [classified and top secret] on site archaeological dig.
2. Poor Angus is still in the Dog House after his horrific ordeal with Monsieur Porkie...
... needless to say, by late afternoon, he was back outside on afternoon patrol with Mac.
