Day One Hundred and Forty Four - Bullfrog

Dear all,

A long long ago, Collingwood High Street was home to the most fabulous vintage store known to all as 'Bullfrog'. I frequented the store so oft that I was promoted to VIP status and frequently taken 'out back' to rummage through the new items before they went on 'general release' and they never charged me more than $10 a piece [note to all: I have a Vera Wang dress from Bullfrog to give you an idea of the bargains I have found there].
It was a sad, sad loss when Bullfrog closed down and Collingwood High Street has never been the same. As always... there is a silver lining to every cloud and Bullfrog has now opened up in Owen Sound. Hurray! (They have a Facebook site for all those intertested: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Owen-Sound-ON/Bullfrog-Vintage/9008034617?v=wall) And our visit to Owen Sound with Vince and Kerry was perfect opportunity check out the new store! I am proud to say that I have not lost my touch with finding the bargains. Kerry and I were in the store for around 5 minutes and I had picked out three bargains including one behind the check out desk.
1. A gorgeous ballerina dress which was fully lined ( with netting!) and with a fabulous fitted waist: $9
2. A vintage 'wedding dress' that I will dress down and possibly ware with black flair trousers. Fitted with amazing beading and embroidered bodice but a rather high split at the back...: $9
3. A fabulous Banana Republic wrap around dress, perfect for summer and will look fabulous with stilettos: $12

And in other news:
1. Little Rimba grows and grows. Here is a mini video of her at her cutest:
