Day Three Hundred and Forty Four - Last Day At The Inn

Dear all,

And that's all folks! I have finished my final day at The Inn! It's been a fascinating journey since I first stumbled across the place in 2008 after which I have been on a roller coaster ride that has lead me to this point; The happiest I have ever been and can't wait to start the next amazing chapter of my life here in Canada with Darren.

I think the 'before' and 'after' shots are pretty amusing. First day in Canada back in April 2008 having recently left London, UK and today, being pounced on my two dogs and loving life!

So, one last tribute to the wonderful Inn (http://www.prettyriverinn.com) and of course, a huge thank you to Linda and Paul who made it possible for me to stay in Canada over the last couple of years!

It turned out to be a gorgeous day and Cornelia and I rattled through the day absent-mindedly thinking that it was in fact my second to last day.. however.. at the final hour, Linda called from her Thai Chi class ( I love it) to say that I could take my last day off and that was it! Done and dusted, with just enough time to run around and say goodbye ( although not really, as I will certainly pop in on a very regular basis; living down the road in C Wood) to my loved ones.

I will miss darling Una and wish I could take her with me ( not sure the Land Lord would appreciate a horse on the property although it would certainly ensure that the lawns were permanently 'cropped').

Darling Cornelia, I will miss you! Here is a small snippet of video footage from the afternoon!

We also managed to find the biggest Egg on record...

....and my final job of the day was [of course] to wash to dogs. Mac had rolled in something so awful, I had to get the shampoo on him immediately before the Inn was evacuated due to onsite bio-hazard. Little Maccy. I will miss him.

So, that's it! On to the next and I am so excited! More time to paint, cook, blog and take on the world with gusto! I love life!
