Today I managed to get out and about in my wee Sunfire and decided to do a spot of Christmas Shopping... Not my favorite thing in the world as I LOVE online shopping and DETEST Christmas crowds, especially when driving in extremely challenging conditions and the rules of the road seem to go out the window during the 'panic' phase of Christmas Shopping mania.
So, I took solace at the wonderful Tremont where the fabulous Bonnie has her new studio where she sells art and jewelry whilst continuing to churn out more and more beautiful pieces in the blissful surroundings of her 'corner office'.
Bonnie is extremely talented and I am privileged to have got to know her as she now joins us on Tuesday night for Art Classes, downstairs at The Bay School of Art.
Bonnie has many strings to her bow but her jewelry is just divine and I couldn't resist making a few yuletide purchases for my gorgeous girlfriends from her range.
I am also [very] tempted to put myself of the 'waiting list' for one of the studios at the Tremont... There are currently nine artists that have working studios in the building and the great thing about it is that patrons from the cafe/ restaurant below drift up and down all day so the exposure if fantastic. And the building is amazing. I love it. Darren loves it too. oooooo love love love thoughts flying around.. it's a dream but my golly, I am going to go for it!
**Note to all: I would take photos of my jewelry purchases.. but that would defeat the object of 'surprise' Christmas shopping!
