Day Two Hundred and Sixty Five - Fois Gras

Dear all,

Yikes.. well, here I am, at that quintessential moment where I leave all my vegetarian roots behind me and charge on as a fully fledged Carnivore. Today, { sorry p} I decided to go 'full-meat' and taste the delicacy they call, Foie Gras.
Em and Benj will be proud, I know it! And yes.. it's delicious. And I know the means at which we acquire Foie gras are somewhat 'complex' but as a fully fledged Organic Farmer, I chose to put this information aside and went full speed ahead!

Well.. until both Vince and Darren could open the jar. Glad to see that 'Vacuum Packed' is an well observed statutory rule when it comes to selling Duck's liver.
I had bought in a box of crackers ( purchased after spinning... always bad to go shopping after spinning**) and the boys literally jumped on the pate on the reveal once getting home. Turns out, ducks live pate tastes okay... it tastes amazing actually, although we will probably send it off home with Vince in the morning. Too much for two people!

*** Karla, you are amazing, what a brilliant(/exhausting) spin class.
