Day Two Hundred and Seven - Thanksgiving

Dear all,

Today is Canadian Thanksgiving! Thanksgiving is an annual holiday on the second Monday in October to give thanks at the close of the harvest. Google describes the festival as being a time where one spends time with the family, partakes in religious festivities and indulge in major FEASTING!

Darren and I had been invited to Vince and Kerry's for a Thanksgiving bonanza! This year is a special day: not only is the date the iconic 10/10/10, but it is Vince's 40th Birthday!! A monster celebration no less!
Kerry and Vince had 17 over for dinner and as always, were not phased in the slightest about the volume of people around their table. There was turkey, stuffing and a ton of wonderful fall veg. Ben also managed to eat an entire packet of Cranberries before being discovered yet still managed to fit in two [huge] portions of Grandma's Apple pie. The power of being 7!
We had a fabulous evening full of fine wine, food and hilarious chat including intense debates about everything from the Toronto Subway to what colour Payton should wear on her nails. It was wonderful.
Happy 10/10/10 birthday to again Vince and Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!
