Year Two Day Three - Sakura

Dear all,

Such a lovely day today! Karla scooped me up from home and we zoomed through town on our bikes to catch the end of an open house at 'Sakura' a holistic Naturopathic clinic in town. http://www.healthinfullbloom.com/index.html

Karla'a very old friend Aranka set up the spa a couple of years ago and I had never been in despite walking past it countless times and constantly pondering on what it was all about. I love the Sakura theme and the Japan link; Karla was explaining that Aranka is also a very talented artist despite two science degrees and this is obvious as you walk in.

I was so impressed, she has done so well. Setting up your own business is always a huge undertaking with huge amount of risk and she has done it! She offers a wide range of treatments that all follow a strong theme of natural therapy and a toxic free lifestyle.
Aranka chatted with us for ages; we had tea in the relaxation room and discussed her new range of cosmetics and a  (fabulous) new recipe for cheese cake she had found on this GORGEOUS blog that Karla had stumbled upon; http://mynewroots.blogspot.com/

Aranka gave us one of her home made lip balms to take home and we set off feeling invigorated and inspired. She is quite an amazing lady, she has even just won the Collingwood Chamber of Commerce Environmentally Conscious Business of the year award; very impressive!

Congratulations Aranka, what a place! Sakura is a herbal haven!
